Modular hinged corner post 9.5 x 9.5 x 125 cm without holes for tie points
The modular hinged corner post 9.5 x 9.5 x 125 cm is a formwork panel from the Modular/GE universal formwork range from PASCHAL.
Measuring 9.5 x 9.5 x 125 cm, the hinged corner post together with the inside and outside corner posts form the corner panels for the formwork height 1.25 m. The modular hinged corner post is made up of two angle profiles.
- Made of a durable steel construction
- Fully compatible with all other modular panels
- Quick clamping with keybolts
- Available with and without holes for tie points
- Formworking of any wall thickness thanks to plastic filler pieces.
- Short side length for using compensation panels
Information on use
The modular hinged corner post outside 9.5 x 9.5 x 125 cm for shuttering oblique-angled corners.
Since the sides of the hinged corner post do not have flanging for tie rods, a compensation panel, filler post or PE filler is to be fitted on the sides of the hinged corner post and clamped to the next joint.
What makes the modular hinged corner post so special is that it can be used both indoors and outdoors. The hinged corner post has a side length of 9.5 cm. Since the outside formwork is longer than the inside formwork, the differences must be compensated for using various compensation panels. If this is not possible, additional PE fillers can be used on one side. If the wall thickness is 25 cm and the included angle is 120°, a compensation panel measuring 35 cm in width can be selected for the outside and a compensation panel with a width of 20 cm for the inside, as the difference is 15 cm.
In addition to the hinged corner post without holes for tie points, a version with holes for tie points is also available.
Clamping on hinged corner posts
With the hinged corner post without holes for tie points, the compensation panels with be strapped over with the 85 cm tie rod guide. To this end, a compensation panel with a width no greater than 40 cm is to be used. If larger compensation panels are needed, larger walers are required. In addition, the hinged corner post is clamped onto the modular panel with keybolts.
In the case of the hinged corner post with holes for tie points, the walers are to arranged at the tie points of the hinged corner post. The waling lies against the side parts of the compensation panels. With interior angles of less than 138°, a plate with ball-and-socket joint can be used on the inside instead of a tie rod guide and wing nut. With interior angles of less than 115°, the waling lies against the outside and not against the side parts of the compensation panels. Then the hinged corner post must be lined with wood on site.
Only compensation panels with a maximum width of 50 cm may be used. If larger dimensions are required, walers should be placed over the tie points of the compensation panels and connected together. Two tie points must be provided for each hinged corner post.
